The story was brilliant, the music was something special and the gameplay (whilst not revolutionary) was certainly very tight.
One of my gaming gems of this gen so far.
ON topic: It would make sense to buy FF13 on the PS3 as apparently the game performs slightly better on this platform.
If you goto your local dvd store you can buy 4 or 5 decent movies for the same price as the 'Heavy Rain Movie'.
Patchstation3 - it only releases duff games followed by patches
I was so looking forward to buying this game but was waiting for Edge's non-biased review and now i'm not going to bother.
Surely i can play some half-decent games on my PS3 at the beginning of the year........

Well back to the 360 then i guess, atleast i'm spoilt for choice with AAA games there.
I'm as nearly hyped up for this behemoth than i am for Halo:Reach - and that's saying something.

Sony HAS more 1st party studios than it's competitors sure but do i regret buying a 360? let's way up the evidence......
Crackdown, Halo3, Lost Oddyssey (SO underrated), Forza3, Mass Effect 1&2, ODST (to a smaller extent), Fable2 amongst others certainly make me glad and proud to own a 360.
Sure the Wii,360 and PS3 all churn out exclusives but it's the gaming gems, like those listed ...

I know it takes roughly 2 years for a game to be done (less in some instances and more in others) but are we seeing that many more exclusives than the Wii or 360?
MS does need to play catch up here though - even though they have the biggest game of this gen in the Halo's they can't rely on that forever.

Those two games, which are widely recognised as being the best Sony has this year, both fall very short of Alan Wake in every way.
It's like me saying M.A.G or Heavy Buttons are very good games,it's just a lie thus i would be being sarcastic again.

It's a fact that all the droids were all over this game proclaiming it to be amazing but they were all getting the superior PC version........

I've never known such a piece of faulty hardware to be released before like the PS3 that is so unable to run games properly that they get patched every two seconds and then the patches are patched - it would be hilarious if it wasn't so true.
In this case it will be the PS3's turn soon - i mean how can a console wipe out all the profits from it's two forebears so quickly?!?!?!
